The Cuban Five is a spy ring of Cuban intelligence officers and terrorists who penetrated a US Navy base, reported US military movements to Cuba, and stole 2000 pages of classified data. They were tried and convicted of espionage and conspiracy to commit murder in association with an airplane shot down by Cuba in which four US citizens and others were killed.
